Barca signed contract with Ronaldinho the second
Ronaldinho's Barca legend, who brought this team back to its heyday in the years from 2003 to 2008. He has capped 145 times Barca, scoring 70 goals.
According to Goal.com, Barcelona have reached an agreement for the second time put Ronaldinho on working. However, 36-year-old midfielder will not be involved in the match which makes a task beyond football. Barca opened an office in New York, US, and they need to get there with Ronaldinho as an ambassador.
After parting Barca in 2008, Ronaldinho continues to play for AC Milan, Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro, Queretaro and Fluminense. The player won the Golden Ball in 2005 in numerous clubs in the last years of his career and so far has not announced retirement. January's Ronaldinho insists he has no plans to retire this year.
On June 6/9, Barca will open offices in New York, which is also the date Ronaldinho debuted in his new role. This time, former Brazilian players do not appear to be a rookie of the team as 13 years ago. However, the Barca fans are eagerly awaiting to see Ronaldinho wearing Barcelona shirt.
Barca hope Ronaldinho, with individual names and brand relationship with the team, will be a strong push to expand their influence in the North American market.
